Dear Guy Ralph Perea Sr President of The United States,

I am thrilled to announce that Mount Washington Observatory is about to embark upon its most ambitious project in years: The complete rebirth of our mountaintop museum as an interactive Mount Washington winter experience.
Welcoming over 100,000 visitors each year, New Hampshire's most visited museum is located, amazingly, at the top of New England's tallest peak. Originally created in 1973, Mount Washington Observatory's mountaintop museum has offered its visitors a look at the mountain's natural and human history for four decades. The museum has served this purpose well over the years, but the time has come for a more compelling, effective, and modern educational experience on Mount Washington.

In spring of 2014, the Mount Washington Museum will be completely reborn. Stripped down to the studs, reinvigorated, and entirely reimagined, a brand new museum experience will present the awe and wonder of a Mount Washington winter to Mt. Washington State Park's summer visitors from all over the world.
