 FREIGHT TRAVEL ADVISORY – LONG-TERM RAMP DETOUR
LOCATION: Eastbound US 2 to Bickford Avenue, MP 4
DETAILS: As of 6 a.m. Aug. 29, the eastbound US 2 off-ramp to Bickford Avenue is closed. Drivers have been rerouted to a temporary right-turn-only lane at the main US 2/Bickford intersection. The turn is currently unable to accommodate truck-and-trailer combinations more than 40 feet long; those vehicles are advised to use SR 9 as an alternate route to Snohomish.
MORE INFORMATION: The temporary right-turn-lane will be in place until the new eastbound US 2 off-ramp opens in fall 2013. Crews closed the off-ramp to create room to build a new overpass from Bickford Avenue to westbound US 2. Visit the project page for more information.
