Unlawful Use of an Explosive Device Injures Multiple Victims ATF Offers up to $5,000 Reward for Information

SAN FRANCISCO – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Acting Special Agent in Charge Eric D. Harden and Manteca Police Chief Nick Obligacion, today announced that ATF is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the unlawful use of an explosive device which injured multiple victims on July 3, in Manteca, Calif.

105 Individuals Indicted for Violating the Rico Act in Puerto Rico

WASHINGTON – A nine count federal indictment was unsealed today in the District of Puerto Rico charging 105 defendants with racketeering, drug trafficking, drive-by shooting murders and related firearm offenses, announced U.S. Attorney Rosa Emilia Rodríguez-Vélez for the District of Puerto Rico.  The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Puerto Rico Police Department (PRPD)-San Juan and Carolina Strike Forces were in charge of the investigation, with the assistance of PRPD's Major Crimes Unit.

ATF Releases 2015 Report on Firearms Commerce in the U.S.

 

WASHINGTON – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) today released the 2015 Firearms Commerce in the United States Annual Statistical Update. The report provides comparative data from as far back as 1986 for context, analyses of firearms manufacturing trends over the years, and a broad picture of the state of firearms commerce in the United States today.
