TIMING, SHOWERS WILL INCREASE IN COVERAGE THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON, THEN
CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON BEFORE DECREASING.
SNOW LEVELS, AROUND 5500 TO 6000 FEET AND TO BETWEEN 5000 AND
5500 FEET LATE THIS EVENING THROUGH MONDAY.
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS, 4 TO 7 INCHES ABOVE 6000 FEET, WITH 1 TO
4 INCHES BETWEEN 5000 AND 6000 FEET. LOCAL ACCUMULATIONS UP TO
A FOOT ARE POSSIBLE IN HIGHER TERRAIN.
WINDS, AREAS OF SOUTH TO WEST WINDS 15 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS
TO 40 MPH ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THE PERIOD.
IMPACTS, ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL LEAD TO HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS
FOR ANYONE VENTURING INTO THE MOUNTAINS. ROADS WILL BE ICY AND
A FEW ROAD CLOSURES ARE A POSSIBILITY, INCLUDING HIGHWAY 2 IN
THE SAN GABRIEL MOUNTAINS.
