Subject: FREIGHT TRAVEL ADVISORY - Flammable cargo restriction on I-5 at Washington State Convention Center Wednesday

LOCATION: Both directions of Interstate 5 under the Washington State Convention Center. DETAILS: Flammable cargo will be prohibited from traveling in both directions of Interstate 5 under the Washington State Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15. During that time, maintenance crews from the Washington State Department of Transportation will work on the roadway fire suppression system. Drivers needing to transport flammable materials through downtown Seattle must use alternate routes such as Interstate 405 or State Route 99.  MORE INFORMATION: Before drivers head out the door, they can get real-time traffic information on their phone with the WSDOT traffic app, tracking the WSDOT traffic Twitter feed, and get advanced information from the What's Happening Now page.
