Update: Two date changes at WSDOT-hosted airport workshops in September Please note that the Yakima and Spokane workshops have been rescheduled. The changes are reflected below.
Washington airport managers are invited to attend any of the four aviation workshops that the Washington State Department of Transportation is hosting this September:
Wednesday, Sept.3, WSDOT Aviation Division, 7702 Terminal Street, Tumwater Thursday, Sept. 4, Arlington Airport, 18204 59th Drive NE, Suite B, Arlington Wednesday, Sept. 10, WSDOT Maintenance Office, 900 E Selah Road, Yakima Thursday, Sept. 11, WSDOT Spokane, 2714 N Mayfair, Spokane
The Yakima workshop previously scheduled for Sept. 11, is now Sept. 10. The Spokane workshop, previously scheduled for Sept. 10, is now Sept. 11.
Registration for each workshop begins at 8:30 a.m.; presentations are scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon. During the workshops, airport managers will receive important, need-to-know information about WSDOT's Airport Aid Grant Program, State Capital Improvement Program, Airport Investment Study, Aviation System Plan update … and more. Participants will also hear about general aviation topics such as aviation fuels, unmanned aerial systems, 2014 legislative results and NextGen.
