The top United Nations official in Geneva today urged bold action by diplomats at the start of the world body&#39s first ever meeting on Lethal Autonomous Weapons (LAWS), better known as &#8220killer robots,&#8221 telling them: &#8220You have the opportunity to take pre-emptive action and ensure that the ultimate decision to end life remains firmly under human control.&#8221 Read more
