On the Job Training Manual (Revised April 2011)

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) as directed by 23 Code of
Federal Regulation (CFR) requires all State Transportation Agencies
(STA) to create and utilize On-the-Job Training (OJT) on federally
assisted highway construction projects. This directive was derived
from the legislative acts of 23 United States Code (U.S.C.) 140 a) -
Federal Aid Highway Act of 1968 (OJT Program) and 23 U.S.C. 140 (b) -
Federal Aid Highway Act of 1970 (OJT Supportive Services Program).

full closures in both directions followed by 45 minute traffic release
to clear the queue. Variable delays could range from 30-60+ minutes.
Tuesday, April 22 8AM - 4PM - Varying single lane closures between
mile markers 241-243 for striping operations.
Monday, April 21 - Thursday, April 24 5PM-5AM - Single lane closures
either direction for general construction activities.
Full closures are necessary for crews to perform rock scaling and
blasting operations.
Schedule subject to change. Other lane closures and delays possible.

Reed-Bell St. that has all northbound lanes blocked. Use caution in
the area and expect delays.

Alternating single lane closures on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) in
both directions between Milepost Markers 27.9 and 29 in the vicinity
of Kaawalii Gulch, on Monday, April 21, through Friday, April 25, from
8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for roadway improvements.

ID 36 in both directions: Dry pavement.

pavements. Cloudy skies. Look out for high winds.

I-95 northbound: Construction work.
at Exit 184: ME 222 (Bangor). Look out for construction work due to
bridge construction work. Until July 4.

Comment: 95 North Bangor Exit 184 reduced to one lane Due to Realign
the northbound on-ramp at I-95 Exit 184 to increase the length of the
acceleration lane. Close the Ohio Street connection from the
northbound on-ramp.
