For Visit by Cher Ambassador of USS NEW JERSEY The tours of the
Battleship New Jersey are interactive. You will be going up and down
on ladders, stepping through passageways and sometimes maneuvering in
tight spaces - just like the officers and the crew of the USS New
Jersey did. We strongly recommend you wear comfortable flat shoes. If
you do not feel comfortable with a complete tour, you can enjoy a main
deck tour, which does not have any ladders. We also offer video tours
of the Battleship in the Wardroom Lounge on the Main Deck. If you are
bringing a toddler or baby, you cannot bring a stroller aboard the
ship. We recommend that you wear a baby carry-on across your front to
carry babies aboard.
