Remember - our base is solid and has been compacted on a daily basis season
long by our multi-ton snowcat. Our snow does not disappear
quickly like the
snow in your backyard! Trail coverage is very good without a
single bare spot.

It's a gorgeous sun-splashed week! Get out and enjoy this weather and these
very good spring conditions!
35km of trails are freshly snowcat groomed with trackset and
skating lanes
by Olavi. Our compacted base is over a foot-and-a-half, 19 - 22", with
23 - 28"
in our woods. Surface is power-tilled loose granular snow.

and both junior tubing hills are open. Our ice-skating pond and
the 3km
loop directly on Woods Lake are closed. All other ski trails are open.

Ski and snowshoe enthusiasts planning to enjoy our trails as lodging guests
or for day use should plan to bring lunch/snacks/meals as our food service
is closed for the season. All other services (snowcat grooming,
overnight
accommodations, ski lessons, rentals, retail shop, etc) and activities (xc
skiing, snowshoeing, junior tubing hills) will continue as usual
until we close
for the season possibly later this week but no later than at the
end of the day Sunday, April 6).
Forecast: Wednesday is expected to be sunny with a high of 46;
Thursday partly sunny,
high of 44 and Friday mostly cloudy, high of 42. Below freezing
temperatures
are expected each night.
