Comments from Monday's Snow Lovers: "Mid-winter snow conditions.
Finn-fabulous
grooming. For the sake of all that is good and noble about winter, get out
before the thaw." Don Steiner, Schenectady, NY

Comments from Sunday's Snow Lovers: "Great skiing. Best
conditions ever, anywhere
in my experience." Steve Marcal, Delmar, NY
"Been up almost every weekend - arguably best skiing of year...."
Doug DeLong,
Cherry Valley, NY
"Absolutely beautiful skiing! Finn-fabulous and triple Finn-tastic!" Allie
Miller, Mayfield, NY
"Winter in spring, how awesome." Andrew Stelling, Cohoes, NY

Beautiful conditions today! We are enjoying 100% operation with all
50km of trails
open. 38km are freshly snowcat groomed with trackset and skating lanes
by Olavi.
Our compacted base is over two feet, 23 - 26", with over three
feet, 35
- 40", in our woods. Surface is a power-tilled mixture of packed powder and
fine granular snow.
Our 12km dedicated snowshoe trail network

and both junior tubing hills are open. Our ice-skating pond is closed.
Ski and snowshoe enthusiasts planning to enjoy our trails as lodging guests
or for day use should plan to bring lunch/snacks/meals as our food service
is closed for the season. All other services (snowcat grooming,
overnight
accommodations, ski lessons, rentals, retail shop, etc) and activities (xc
skiing, snowshoeing, junior tubing hills) will continue as usual
until we close
for the season at the end of the day Sunday, April 6.
At this time it appears temperatures will remain cold through Thursday this
week with moderating temperatures arriving Friday. We always
recommend checking
this report for the most up-to-date condition information.

Forecast: Today is a nice day - partly sunny with a high of 31.
Wednesday is
expected to be partly sunny with a high of 28; Thursday mostly
sunny with
a high of 34.
Congratulations to Gail Jacobsen, winner of our 2014 winter
season ski patrol
raffle. The raffle generated $1,246.00, all of which will be used
to purchase
first aid supplies and equipment. Many thanks to all who donated!
