Winter Storm warning in The Sierra Nevada Kings Canyon North to Lake
Tahoe with heavy snow and snow levels lowering to 1000 feet and some
areas to the Southern Sacramento Valley and San Joaquin Valley North
of Merced California travels are warned as the system intensify winds
at San Francisco International Airport one report 29 miles per hour
causing again wind chills in the 30's the surprise storm is the cause
of a unexpected drop in the Polar Jet stream that was seen earlier but
models appear that the jet stream would digg further South into old
Mexico but as events show the digging stopped near Monterey Bay
California little move South Movement is seen as of yet Precipitation
is up to six tenths of inch in and around San Francisco Bay and areas
East like amounts are expected with 6 inches to a foot of snow
expected above 3000 feet in The Sierra and High Winds and Snow
expected in the Great Basin later this evening......
