We've received over a foot of snow since Saturday: 5" Monday
& Monday night,
2" Sunday night & 7" Saturday! We have Finn-tastic midwinter
conditions
with 100% operation! All 50km of trails are open: 38km ski trails are
snowcat
groomed with trackset and skating lanes. Surface is packed
powder. Our compacted
base averages 8 - 11" with 15 - 20" in the woods.

Saturday, February 8 - Lapland Ladies Love to Ski! A special program
designed for
women, taught by women. From 9:30am - 2:30pm beginner and
intermediate level
female skiers, grouped by ability, will receive instruction in classic ski
technique, enjoy lunch with an equipment & clothing discussion,
participate
in a social group ski and enjoy a group wrap up with hot beverage
at the end
of the day. The program is led by Lapland Lake's PSIA-certified instructors
Sherry Dixon, Susan Henriksson and Jan Mares. Cost for the
five-hour program
is $40 including facility use pass, lunch and discount coupon for
equipment.
Cost of rental equipment, if needed, is $15 for this program
only. To ensure
space, please pre-register.
