Roadwork, Major Delays on SR-157 Kyle Canyon Road in both directions
single lane closures on Kyle Canyon Road from mile marker 10 to mile
marker 18; flaggers and pilot operations in effect. No passing, expect
traffic delays with the shoulder closed in different locations for
widening work. Construction will pause for the week of December 20th
through January 5th, resuming Monday, January 6, 2014. in Las Vegas,
Clark County Nevada.

delays daily. Saturday - 30 minute delays. 8a-4p, 30min-1hour traffic
stops with maximum 2-3 hour traffic stop during blasting operations.

Northbound / Southbound Red Mtn. Pass (south of Ouray) (Milemarker
87-92)Click for latest updates. Red Mountain Pass is open only twice
each day during rockfall work. There will be single-lane, alternating
traffic through the work zone from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and again
and from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The pass will be fully closed all
other times until work is complete, possibly by mid-February weather
permitting. Restriction began January 13th, 2014 at 12:40pm. Alternate
route is From Ouray to Durango (a distance of 70 miles using US 550)
motorists will instead use SH 62 from Ridgway over Dallas Divide, SH
145 over Lizard Head Pass, then US 160, for a trip of 168 miles (a
98-mile detour).

Justification: Incident - Hazmat (Hazmat Background Checks
Under the USA PATRIOT Act, commercial drivers transporting hazardous
materials (hazmat) must pass a background records check and be
fingerprinted. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is
responsible for conducting the background checks for all commercial
drivers with hazmat endorsements or who want to add hazmat
endorsements to their licenses. The TSA developed this program to
carry out the USA PATRIOT Act mandate and protect citizens from the
potential threat of terrorists using hazmat cargo. The requirement is
a result of the USA PATRIOT Act (Public Law 107-56, Section 1012) and
the Safe Explosives Act (Public Law 107-296, Section 1121-1123), ARS
28-3103(A)(2), and 49 CFR 1572.

If the TSA disqualifies you because of your background, you can appeal
their finding or seek a waiver. However, if you are found guilty of a
disqualifying crime, you must declare any disqualifying conditions and
surrender your hazmat endorsement (if you already have it) to your
state's department of motor vehicles or other licensing agency.)

westbound from Atlantic City Expressway in Atlantic City to CR
585/Main St in Pleasantville. All lanes closed 10-15 minute delay, use
caution.
