to our "Touch of Finland in the Adirondacks"! There is still some lodging
availability remaining this week.

Happy Birthday, Olavi! Mother Nature is delivering a gift of
fresh snow! We
have 3" so far over existing base with some more on the way.
Grooming is underway, and we expect to have all trails open at
11am with the
exception of the three double diamond Karhu hills, Tunturi
and perhaps
Napa Piiri. Average compacted base is 2 - 5" with 4 - 8" in the
woods. There
were some bare spots which are being covered but which, when packed, will
still be thin until more snow accumulates, so we recommend older
skis to start
with for today. We expect to offer lessons beginning
tomorrow. Our 12km
snowshoe trail network is also open, and our smaller junior tubing hill is
open. Rentals are available.

Our Tuulen Tupa Grill is open for lunch and snack service daily.
