US Forest Service (USFS) advises that weather conditions have
unexpectedly changed and smoke from a prescribed burn will settle onto
SR 6 (U.S. 82) in Bibb County tonight. Caution is advised to motorists
for the possibility of dense smoke in this area. USFS has coordinated
with ALDOT to install message boards providing warning about the smoke
area. Motorists should use caution and, if practical, avoid this area.

motorists of a single right lane closure on Farrington Highway in both
directions between Old Fort Weaver Road and Kamehameha Highway on
Sunday, December 29, through Friday, January 3, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.,
for the rail project.
