Happy Birthday, Olavi! Mother Nature delivered a 5" snowfall
(over existing
base) birthday gift today! Olavi missed his birthday celebration as he
was diligently
grooming most of the day, so we have postponed the birthday singalong
and complimentary
birthday cake until 2pm tomorrow in the Finnish Line Lodge. Please come join us
Friday at 2pm to wish this most amazing man a happy year ahead!

All trails are open and groomed with the exception of the three
double diamond
Karhu hills and Tunturi. Average compacted base is 2 - 6"
with 4 - 8"
in the woods. Coverage is good on the majority of the system, but
there are still
some thin spots, so we are recommending use of older gear for the time
being. Rental
gear is available for skiing, classic and skate, tubing and snowshoeing.

snowshoe trail network is also open, and our smaller junior tubing hill is

Got Kids? Our Kids' Club lessons (11:15 & 1pm) and NEW Reindeer
Rally (2:15
- 3:30pm) are offered for children ages 5 - 11 daily through January 1.
Advance reservations strongly recommended.

NEW THIS SEASON - Reindeer Rally:Under Assistant Nordic
Director/PSIA-certified
instructor Pat Ferri's supervision, kids ages 5 - 11 will play a host of
on-ski games including Limbo, Spider (flag tag), Soccer on
Snow, Relay
Slalom, Caterpillar Relay, Sharks & Minnows, Scavenger Hunt and Elephant
Hunt among others! Rides on our Napa Kiikku ice sled ride may
also be included.
Parents may join in or not as they wish. Those with children enrolled in
the 1pm Kids' Club and 2pm Reindeer Rally may opt for more than two hours
of adult ski time (aka Parent Ski Escape) leaving their children in the
care of our talented instructor(s).
Cost for the hour and fifteen minute Reindeer Rally is $15. This program
is sure to be so popular with all our younger skiers that
parents may want
to consider purchase of a $60 Reindeer Pass. By just the fourth
session,
your kids will enjoy Pat's fun and games FREE for the balance of the season!
