Seattle Area What's happening on the highway from Renton to Shoreline
Today's soggy weather is looking to freeze up overnight throughout Western Washington before the morning commute Friday, Jan. 11. It's a good idea to plan head, take it slow and anticipate extra time for your trip.
While we will be out around the clock treating roads before and after the temperature drops, you can play a key role in keeping traffic moving safely by driving for the conditions.
Stopping distance increases in icy conditions. Leave at least three times more space than usual between their car and the vehicle in front of them. Other tips can be found on our winter weather website.
