LOCATION: College Way/State Route 538 in Mount Vernon, the route between I-5 and SR 9 in Skagit County.
DETAILS: Dec. 12 to 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14 College Way will be closed to all traffic at the railroad tracks for a period of 48 hours. Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) will be making critical repairs to the railroad crossing.
MORE INFORMATION: A signed detour will be available and drivers should plan on traffic delays. More information and detour map is available from the City of Mount Vernon. www.mountvernonwa.gov/DocumentCenter/View/1245
