LOCATION: State Route 99 (West Marginal Way) at South 102nd Street.
DETAILS: Seattle City Light will close two of four lanes on State Route 99 (West Marginal Way) at South 102nd Street this afternoon to restring power lines and put up new power poles. The lane closure at the south end of Boeing Field will begin around 5 p.m. and may last up to 24 hours. State Route 99 is a popular alternate route to I-5 and a busy freight corridor. Drivers should plan for delays if they use SR 99 in this area. To avoid the lane closure, drivers and freight haulers can use Interstate 5, State Route 509 or East Marginal Way.
