6.7 (OCT 20 2012 6.6) EVALUATIONA DESTRUCTIVE WIDESPREAD TSUNAMI
THREAT DOES NOT EXIST BASED ONHISTORICAL EARTHQUAKE AND TSUNAMI
DATA.HOWEVER - THERE IS A VERY SMALL POSSIBILITY OF A LOCAL
TSUNAMITHAT COULD AFFECT COASTS LOCATED USUALLY NO MORE THAN A
HUNDREDKILOMETERS FROM THE EARTHQUAKE EPICENTER. AUTHORITIES IN
THEREGION NEAR THE EPICENTER SHOULD BE MADE AWARE OF
THISPOSSIBILITY.THIS WILL BE THE ONLY BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE PACIFIC
TSUNAMIWARNING CENTER FOR THIS EVENT UNLESS ADDITIONAL
INFORMATIONBECOMES AVAILABLE.THE JAPAN METEOROLOGICAL AGENCY MAY ISSUE
