Lower Plaquemines; Lower St. Bernard; Orleans; St. Tammany; Upper St. Bernard
...PROLONGED PERIOD OF SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS WILL CAUSE LOCALIZED
COASTAL FLOODING...
.A LONG PERIOD OF WINDS FROM THE SOUTHEAST WILL CAUSE HIGHER THAN
NORMAL TIDES ALONG PARTS OF COASTAL MISSISSIPPI AND SOUTHEAST
LOUISIANA THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING. TIDES ARE CURRENTLY A FOOT
TO A FOOT AND A HALF ABOVE ASTRONOMICAL TIDES. COASTAL AREAS
INCLUDED IN THIS ADVISORY COULD SEE MINOR IMPACTS.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEW ORLEANS HAS ISSUED A COASTAL
FLOOD ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM CDT TUESDAY.
* COASTAL FLOODING...1 TO 2 FEET ABOVE ASTRONOMICAL TIDE LEVELS.
* TIMING...NOW THROUGH TUESDAY MIDDAY
* IMPACTS...MINOR INUNDATION OF TIDALLY INFLUENCED AREAS...MAINLY
ON EAST AND SOUTHEAST FACING SHORES.
A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE.
