(Editor's note: Technical problems have been resolved. The flammable cargo restriction has been lifted.)

LOCATION: Flammable cargo is prohibited from traveling in both directions of Interstate 90 inside the Mount Baker tunnel and the Mercer Island lid until further notice due to technical problems.

DETAILS: Drivers needing to transport flammable materials across Lake Washington must use alternate routes such as Interstate 405, State Routes 520 or 522. Drivers transporting flammable materials on westbound I-90 must exit at Island Crest Way (Exit #7) on Mercer Island. Eastbound drivers transporting flammable materials must exit at Rainier Avenue South (Exit #3) in Seattle.
