You can now host static websites on Amazon S3 at the root domain.
Visitors to your website can now easily and reliably access your site

Now, you can take advantage of S3's high availability and durability

Earth Networks uses Amazon CloudFront's dynamic content features such

EBS Snapshot Copy enables you to copy your EBS snapshots across AWS
regions, thus making it easier for you to leverage multiple AWS
regions and accelerate your geographical expansion, data center
migration and disaster recovery. In the AWS Management Console, you
can select the snapshot to be copied, set the destination region, and
start the copy. This feature can also be accessed via an EC2 Command
Line Interface or an EC2 API as described in the EBS Snapshot Copy
page <http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/ebs-copy-snapshot.html>.
The copied snapshot behaves the same as other snapshots in the
destination region: it can be used to create new EBS volumes which can

You can now change the name and endpoint of your existing DB Instances

operate in your own datacenter.

You can now take advantage of the manageability, availability and
scalability benefits of Amazon ElastiCache Clusters in your own

*Amazon CloudSearch Adds Analytics and Rank Comparison Features*
Amazon CloudSearch users can now take advantage of two new features to
manage their search applications.

The Amazon CloudSearch rank comparison feature provides a new way to
visually compare changes to rank expressions. Developers can quickly
see how different rank expressions and field weights impact the
sorting of search results in side-by-side windows. Field weights can
be adjusted by using slider bars. Fast A/B testing and rapid iteration
of rank expressions are enabled, without rebuilding the index. To

The Amazon CloudSearch analytics reports provide insight into search
effectiveness and user behavior. Metrics data can be tracked for each

*Amazon SNS Announces Support for 64KB Payloads*
We're pleased to announce support for 64KB payloads in SNS.
Previously, SNS notifications were capped at 32KB. Customers tell us
larger payloads will enable new use cases that were previously
difficult to accomplish. When subscribing SQS queues to SNS topics,
customers can now take advantage of the full 64kb payloads that SQS
allows.

64KB SNS payloads are available today in all regions.
