Winds in Hawaii have turned to the Southeast to follow up a cold Air
Mass to Alaska again with Southerly winds - then along the Western
United States only finding Northwesterly winds leaving from The Hawaii
Islands to The Mainland of The United States resting in The Control of
The Pacific High - only allowance to precipitation is a ride over the
Top of The High - but in Hawaii does show weaking with Southeasterly
winds in that a ridge is likely in the forecast near 140 degree West
allowing a change in the dropping of a number of cold fronts through
Washington Oregon and North Central California as the Ridge begins to
react to the Strong influence on Hawaii from Alaska -

Event ended News Years eve Reno Nevada 2004

Strong storm dropped in The High Desert of The Western Great Basin in
2004 ending at New Years Eve with 1.38 inches of precipitation in 24
hours the Average for December is 0.90 inch - one might think that is
not such a major condition except that area of The United States in
theory in Dought and for 2004 no other station equal its own record
amount except for Reno. But Just prior to that date on the 30th
further back in years and East in Tennessee in 1917 a minus 32 degrees
at Mountain City yet going North on same date but different year in
Vermont a minus 50 degrees in Bloomfield but going back from 1933
Vermont Record into 1917 again we find West Virginia a minus 37
degrees in Lewisburg giving elevation of the two 1917 readings a
difference of 271 feet and temperature from Tennessee to West Virginia
a 5 degree lapse in 271 feet is a unusal Cold pocket of Ice under a
extreme of 5.5 degrees every 1,000 feet - one could go back to Reno
Low of 4 degrees in 2004 a Month earlier (11/29) becomes a Forensic
Climate view of such lapse when no State Records are developed in
Month of November leads to a gather up from same Air Mass from of all
places San Diego again the Record low for 2004 does now make San Diego
and Reno sister City in Meteorology fact of such another unusal fact
ot the orther Sister Cities Mountain City and Lewisburg is one to look
at Cause of such Meteorology enhancement vs a Required Modification
one is Citrus other Tobacco in investments is motive.
