Thursday's Postseason slate was full of promise and possibilities that ranged from advancing to the League Championship Series to fighting to extend the season to exiting the playoffs and heading home for the winter. By night's end, two teams had punched their ticket to the LCS, as the San Francisco Giants dispatched the Cincinnati Reds and the Detroit Tigers closed out the Oakland Athletics. Meanwhile, the Baltimore Orioles kept their season alive with an extra-inning victory to force Game 5 in their best-of-five American League Division Series against the New York Yankees, and the Washington Nationals forced the defending World Series champion St. Louis Cardinals to Game 5 in the NLDS. Both decisive games will be played today on TBS -- Baltimore-New York at 5 PM ET and St. Louis-Washington at 8:30 PM ET.
