INTENSE COLD FRONT TO SWEEP THROUGH NEVADA TUESDAY MORNING
AFTER UNSEASONABLY WARM TEMPERATURES ON MONDAY IN THE 70S,
A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL RACE THROUGH NEVADA TUESDAY MORNING.
THIS FRONT WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY SNOW SHOWERS AND WINDS GUSTING
TO NEAR 55 MPH. STRONGEST WIND GUSTS ARE EXPECTED IN SOUTHEAST
ELKO COUNTY AND NORTHWEST NYE COUNTY, WHERE GUSTS NEAR 65 MPH ARE
EXPECTED TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. SNOW AMOUNTS WILL BE LIMITED
TO LESS THAN ONE INCH IN THE VALLEYS. TUESDAY WILL BE
DRAMATICALLY COLDER, WITH AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES IN THE 30S AND
40S. COLD NORTHWEST WINDS WILL PRODUCE UNCOMFORTABLE WIND CHILL
FACTORS IN THE 20S TUESDAY AFTERNOON.
