THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.
.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
CONSIDERABLE ATMOSPHERIC MOISTURE COMBINED WITH DAYTIME HEATING
AND COOLING TEMPERATURES ALOFT WILL ALLOW FOR MORE STORMS AND A FEW
STRONGER STORMS THIS AFTERNOON. ISOLATED SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL
FORM FIRST AT THE COAST EARLY THIS AFTERNOON AND THEN MIGRATE INLAND
THE REST OF THE DAY. THE GREATEST COVERAGE AND INTENSITY OF STORMS
IS EXPECTED TO BE DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING HOURS
WEST OF ORLANDO.
THE PRIMARY WEATHER HAZARDS FROM TODAY`S STORMS WILL BE CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING STRIKES...A FEW WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAIN.
.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
A SUBSIDING LONG PERIOD NORTHEAST SWELL WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE
A MODERATE RIP CURRENT RISK HAZARD AT THE ATLANTIC BEACHES TODAY
ESPECIALLY DURING THE AFTERNOON OUTGOING TIDE. CHECK WITH THE LIFE
GUARDS OR BEACH PATROL ABOUT CONDITIONS BEFORE ENTERING THE SURF. DO
NOT ENTER THE WATER ALONE.
.MARINE THUNDERSTORM GUST IMPACT...

LAKES SHOULD BE PREPARED TO SEEK APPROPRIATE SHELTER IF A
THUNDERSTORM THREATENS THEIR AREA.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
A LINGERING EAST SWELL WILL BRING AN ELEVATED RIP CURRENT HAZARD
ALONG THE EAST FLORIDA BEACHES THROUGH SUNDAY. THUNDERSTORM
COVERAGE WILL INCREASE INTO THE WEEKEND AS WINDS SHIFT TO THE
SOUTH AND PUSH HIGHER MOISTURE BACK ACROSS EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.
